I think Nabokov did an amazing job with translating "Lolita".
Speaking of which- does Vanechka think he'll ever publish his Russian original? I really love to read both orihinals and translations if I have a chance. This is one great translation Vanya Bagaev did, something to be taken as canon, in my eyes, it terms of "how the hell one does it at all".
It'd be a pure joy to read both, I suspect- granted, I already have a parallel running in my head when reading, but it's not the same.
I realize it might be impossible, technical reasons and such. Wishful thinking if you may.

It needs edits and some pieces need En->Ru translation as well. Perhaps soon? Will see. I am afraid of Nabokov may diss it haha

Правда, я не понимаю даже себя двадцать лет тому- как я все это делал аймин успевал все что я успевал, сам себе завидую, ейбогу. хотя на тот момент я естественно так на веши не смотрел, и если честно раз даже заснул лицом в салате, очень вкусном.
