the Tulubaikisation ritual is about to begin

To Our Wayward Children,

There’s a village, but it’s vanishing as you read this. To save it will require a ritual, and we need you. Your quest is of cosmic complexity: hasten thither. We shall furnish you with a theory of place-time-memory, whisper which way to wander, and, if needed, pour artisanal drinks: moonshine, mushroom tinctures, chai, and tears of various kinds. Neither map nor compass shall guide you (apologies), therefore venture forth at hazard, by hunch — trust to luck. Feel the path in your gut: through the golden birch labyrinths, the infinite fields, mirages, hallucinations, glossolalias, and [redacted]. We’re certain you won’t fail us. You’re the only hope, for everyone else has either left or not yet arrived. No pressure, though. If you can’t make it, at least please laugh at the wake.

Wonderful news! Our new book “Tulubaikaporia” is going to be released on the first day of March! (We hope so!)

It took vanechka three years to write it — since Dec 2022, when the first story was drafted, till Dec 2025, when the last one was added, and the feeling, that transcendent sensation of touching upon a complete and perfect object, blissfully surfaced in Vanechka’s brain — and about the same time for Vanya Bagaev to translate and edit and do other necessary things. The book is about 400 pages and consists of 23 chapters of various length and style, all revolving around the remote Russian village of Tulubaika and its wayward children. It’s not just a book but a ritual during which you’ll experience Tulubaika from within.

Beams of appreciation to everyone who has supported us over the years. We hope believe you’ll enjoy and love this book. It represents the best form of the authors and nova·nevédoma as you know it.

We’ll share more information about the ritual and what motivated us to create it, as well as ways to purchase the book, later this month, prior to the release, and potentially open pre-orders when everything’s ready. There’s a lot to talk about and, surely, a lot to share. Just a few weeks away!
